Job Responsibilities;
Manage assigned caseload independently and efficiently
Draft and respond to correspondence
Prepare pleadings, financial disclosures, mediation and trial briefs
Propound and respond to discovery
Telephone and in-person contact with clients, opposing counsel and the courts
Take and defend depositions
Prepare witness questions for evidentiary hearings, depositions and trials
Track billable time
Assist the supervising attorneys in all phases of the practice
1850 billable hours per year
Qualifications;
Must be admitted to and in good standing with the state bar
3+ Years Practicing Family Law
Empathetic, and level-headed demeanor to properly handle sensitive family law matters
Possess strong interpersonal skills and analytical skills,
Excellent writing and legal research skills
Attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills

A sophisticated, results-driven law firm is seeking to add an Employment Attorney to their team. This firm has several offices in Arkansas with a flexible work schedule. The attorneys typically go into the office a couple of days a week for collaboration. This is an employment defense position, but plaintiff candidates interested in switching sides will be considered. This is a mid-sized law firm with 100+ attorneys. Requirements:
3+ years of experience in labor and employment experience
Advising employers in hiring, employment contracts, compensation and discipline, termination matters
Experience with union/management transactions, organizing campaigns grievance, arbitration and dispute resolution
Have an enthusiastic positive approach and be a team player
Exceptional attention to detail, strong writing and legal research skills, and a strong work ethic
1850 billable hour requirement
AR License, in good standing
Wage and Hour, PAGA experience preferred
Experience forming, maintenance and termination of employment in collective bargaining agreements preferred
